Linda Margaret Muxlow (nee McCrimmon) of Owen Sound at the age of 84 years. Dearly loved and cherished wife of Ken Muxlow. Incredible and loving Mom of Gary Muxlow (Sherry) of Goderich, Deborah Muxlow Curow of Ottawa, Karen Harrington (Glenn) of Canton, Michigan. Amazing and loving Nana to Curtis Muxlow (Paige) of Windsor, Blake Muxlow (Darby) of Goderich, Alexandra Curow of Ottawa, Rachael Dolan (Mark) of South Lyon, Michigan, Mikayla Curow of Ottawa, Ashley Harrington of Arlington, Virginia. Loving Great Nana to Tenley Muxlow of Windsor and Ozzie Muxlow of Goderich. Special “big sister” to Terry, Paul and Peter Coleman. Predeceased by her parents Lillian Mae Picot and Bertram D. McCrimmon, her brother Robert McCrimmon and her infant granddaughter Madison Harrington.
Linda met Ken, her hero and the love of her life, in 1954. This fortunate meeting led to a decades long love story lasting for the next 67 years together. Linda was passionate about her family, faith and friends. She was a champion for children and along with Ken, provided a loving home to children in need for many years. Her passion shone brightly through in everything she did and her deep love for her family will be carried on in their hearts forever and for always. “We are incredibly blessed to have had such an amazing woman as our Mom. Her bright light will continue to shine through each of us.”
A special thank you to Dr. Mark Duckworth, and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, for their dedication, care, and compassion.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date when we can gather together to honour and celebrate Linda’s incredible life. Interment will take place at that time at Lakeview Cemetery, Meaford. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations in memory of Linda to First United Church, Owen Sound, the Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario or Sleeping Children Around the World as an expression of sympathy.
