Donna McNabb

Peacefully in her country cottage with all her loving family by her side on Saturday, February 13, 2021.  Born in Owen Sound, on May 1, 1953, Donna Elaine “Donut” (née Ramsay) McNabb, was in her 68th year.

Beloved wife and best friend of Ivan McNabb for 47 years.  Loving mom of Kerri McNabb, Laura McNabb (Rick Sutter) and Heather Howell (Shawn).  Cherished Grandma of Kelsey, Melanie, Haley, Amber, Zoe, Hayden, Peyton, Iylah and Maverick.  Dear sister of Lorraine Jansen (Jim), Sharon Becker, Penny McKay (Terry), Paul Ramsay (Lynn), and sister-in-law of Paul McKay, Mary Lou Brown (Paul), Betty Lou Read, Butch McNabb (Kim), Patti McNabb, Bob McNabb, Barb Cook (Mark), Bill McNabb (Nadine), Michelle McNabb and Traci Carleton (Kevin).  Donna will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and by her many friends.

Predeceased by her parents David and Gladys (née Riddell) Ramsay, her sister Brenda McKay, her brother Ken Ramsay and his wife Louise, parents-in-law Harold and Viola McNabb, and by her brother-in-law Nigel Read.

Cremation is taking place and memorial visitation will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, from 6 – 9 p.m.  Due to COVID19 restrictions all attendees must wear a mask, follow social distancing protocols and RSVP through the funeral home website or by calling the funeral home.  A private memorial service to celebrate Donna’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 17th, with Rev. Kristal McGee officiating.  Friends are welcome to watch the service at 11:00 a.m. via livestream by selecting the ‘LIVE STREAMING’ menu option at the top right corner of the funeral home website (woodfuneralhome.ca).
