Obituary of Sue Bradley
Sue passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at Lee Manor on July 10, 2020. Born in Toronto on September 28, 1952, Susan Marie (née Di Tursi) of Owen Sound, ON, formerly of Nelson, BC, was in her 68th year.
Beloved wife of Alan for 47 years. Loving mother of Michael (Geoffrey) of Guelph. Dear sister of Diane Rocha (Manuel) and Joseph Di Tursi (Louise), both of Bognor, ON. Also missed by her nieces and nephews, Kimberly, Erin, Vicki, Bradley, Grace, Jennifer, Isabella, Victoria, Jacob, and Thomas. Predeceased by her parents Vincent and Grace Di Tursi, and her brother Peter Di Tursi.
Sue loved teaching, and especially loved teaching children to read. She spent most of her career as a teacher and librarian at South Nelson Elementary School in Nelson. She also had a passion for theater and was an active supporter of Nelson’s Capitol Theater, serving on the board of directors and as its chair.
A private family gathering was held at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, ON, N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492), on Monday, July 13, 2020. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound.
