Obituary of Larry Henry
Surrounded by the love of his family, Larry Henry passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Chapman House in Owen Sound. Predeceased by his wife Marilyn in 2005. Larry is survived by: his children, Connie Moulton, Ed Henry, Deb Henry and Richard Henry (Douglas Kehoe); his grandchildren, Chris Moulton, Mike Moulton (Jen), Andy Moulton (Ardona), Jason Henry, Craig Henry (Natalie Maheux), Tamara Peters (Wayne), Matthew Henry, Adam Henry (Lisa); and his great-grandchildren, Cody, Brielle, Brady, Celsey, Emily, Tristan, David, Haley, Madison, Emma and Ava. Dear brother of Bill Henry (Marlene Scholte), Frank Henry (Kathy), Marjorie Foran-McDougall (Earl) and Joy Leslie (Ed) He is also remembered by his former son-in-law, Harv. Larry is predeceased by: his son-in-law, Chuck Moulton (2016), his sister Margaret Sovereign (2017) and his beloved Aunt Jess Mooney earlier this year. Larry was well known for his "dumb jokes" and for making the best fish and chips ever at Larry's Place Fish and Chips.
Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K – 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Thursday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held in the funeral home chapel, on Friday, October 12th, 2018 at 11:00 am. with Rev. Kristal McGee officiating. In lieu of flowers a donation to Chapman House Hospice, First United Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. woodfuneralhome.ca
